We need to talk.

Ladies,

How are you all doing? I have to admit I am a bit disoriented for I had my day off yesterday and I my brain has assumed it's Monday today. I will be more than happy tomorrow, the weekend will be there much sooner than expected. Who said a two-day week? Sign me up. NOW.

I am not currently sporting the mani I am showing you today; I have to say I enjoyed it very much and would have loved to wear it a little longer. But the situation is like so: I have reached a point in absurdity where I am so desperate to take advantage of the free time I have that I rush for trying new polish-related things and end up taking fun manis off far too soon. Oh well. I never know when my free time is to vanish again, so I play around as much as I can. That helps feed my blog, so I guess it's not that bad. It just feels like coitus interruptus at times.
You are looking at two coats of Sinful Colors Let's Talk over a coat of white, which I stamped with Gosh Silver and Konad. Now you can already tell that color is quite in-your-face, but my camera was very reluctant to capture the color accurately... So I called The Boyfriend for help and we photoshopped a little one of the pictures, so that this post is not really misleading. Here's a closer glimpse of the color:
I'm off showing the Criminal Code some love [that sentence might be totally senseless for you, if so just pretend you never red it], take care of yourselves.

  1. I'm the same right now. Changing my mani pretty much every day and trying out new things, just because I have the time to, haha. This is so pretty! I'm a big fan of in-your-face colours like this. :D

  2. Purples are a bitch to capture in photos. Your mani looks awesome! I wish I used stamps more often, maybe then I would get better and not stamp all crooked and shit -=X lol

  4. Two-day weeks are awesome! Hope you had a chance to relax and do something fun on your day off! haha you are hilarious! I almost choked on my oatmeal when I read your coitus interruptus comment. :D

Love the mani! For some reason, purple just seems like a tough color to capture. Mine also comes out too blue at times.

    1. Hmmm well I really never thought about it; but I guess I would outline that:
      1) clean your plate every two stampings at least, but let the remover evaporate (or pat the plate with a towel) so that it is completely dry. Otherwise the remover gets mixed with the polish and you don't want that.
      2) Pick non fast-dry colors for stamping, it helps that the polish is still wet when you transfer it, so it comes more "perfect".
      3) After your base coat, put on two coats of top coat. This way, if one stamping is failed you can gently erase it with a q-tip without having to re do the whole thing! You have less pressure, you enjoy it more, and it flows :)
I hope that helps! Let me know ^^

  14. HOLY SH*T, this is one of the prettiest color I have ever seen ! Love it, love it, LOVE it ! I don't keep my manicures very long either. But it's not because I have fun things to try, NO ! It's because I can't manage to prevent my manicure from chipping the very next day after I did it. :(
